Marshfield Calendar June 22nd through 29th

Friday, June 22nd:
The Marshfield Farmers’ Market will feature Dan Durkee from 2 to 6 p.m. for live musical entertainment to accompany the day’s special events associated with Alternative Therapies Day.  Over a dozen locally based specialists will offer information and free ‘sample size’ sessions in reflecology, chiropractic, craniosacral, acupuncture, reikki, macrobiotics, yoga, massage and more.  Over 40 local farmers and vendors at the Marshfield Fairgrounds, 140 Main St., rain or shine.  Free parking, admission, lectures & kids activities.  Enter from Route 3A at the Marquee sign.  handicapped parking only is inside the gates.  Wheelchair and stroller friendly. www.marshfieldfair.org for more information.
Relay for Life of Marshfield, Duxbury, Hanover, Norwell and Pembroke will take place on June 22nd and 23rd at Marshfield High School football field.  Highlighting the event will be some new entertainment.  Information:  email marshfieldrelayforlife@gmail.com  or call Debbie at 617 901-3483, or Liz at 339-933-1913.
Saturday, June 23rd: Ventress Memorial Library Book Sale at Ventress Memorial Library, 15 Library Plaza, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  For more information, or to volunteer, call 781 834-5535 or visit www.ventresslibrary.org.
Sunday, June 24th:
Summer Victorian Tea at Daniel Webster Estate and Heritage Center, 238 Webster Street, 2 to 4 p.m.  Reservations are also available now for the September 16th tea, a generational tea:  “Tea for 2 or 3″, which will be a Victorian tea for mothers, daughters, grandmothers ages 5 to 105.  Tickets $15 adults, $10 ages 5-12.  Information:  www.danielwebsterestate.org,  7681834-8457.
Friday, June 29th:
Fiddler Tiffany Rozenas performs at Marshfield Farmer’s Market at Marshfield Fairgrounds, 140 Main Street, from 2 to 6 p.m.  More than 40 vendors of produce, seafood, cheeses, meat, baked goods, prepared foods and more.  Special events include the Plymouth County Extension 4H dog club performing agility demonstrations, clicker training, special tricks and providing certified therapy dogs on site.  Also Ali Queen of Tarts will give free cooking demos on how to make tarts.  Also on display for part of the day will be local fire trucks and firemen to show you their life saving equipment and answer questions.  Firemen (of all ages) are encouraged to come in uniform.  Rain or shine.  Free parking, admission, lectures and kids activities.  Handicapped parking only is inside the gates.  Grounds are wheelchair and stroller friendly.  Information:  www.marshfieldfair.org , 781 635-0889.
