Friday, June 15th:
The Marshfield Farmers’ Market from 2 to 6 p.m. will feature Dana Atanian for live music entertainment, a cooking demo on making your own pizza and from 4 to 6 p.m. is a Home-brewing beer demonstration. Pony rides and tractors will be on display. Over 40 farmers and vendors of local products offer their goods and services in the indoor/outdoor location at the Marshfield Fairgrounds (140 Main Street). Rain or shine with free parking/admission. Sunday, June 17th:
Flea Market hosted by the Marshfield Veterans of Foreign Wars from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the VFW Post a 7655 Main Street, Route 3A. Dealers are welcome. An 18-feet by 18-foot space is $20. Eight feet picnic tables are available for $5 each. Call 781 424-0322 to reserve a space. All proceeds will go to the V.F.W. Scholarship fund.
Tuesday, June 19th:
The Ventress Memorial Library in Marshfield hosts an ongoing book discussion group that delves into classic literature to find fresh insights while considering modern-day perspectives. The next session will meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the library’s Historical Room. June’s classic read titles are “The Bean Trees” and “Animal, Vegetables, Miracles”, written by Barbara Kingsolver. Group members may read one or both of these titles, or just come on the day to listen. Free and open to the public. New members are always welcome. Relay for Life of Marshfield will take place at the Marshfield High School football field. Highlighting the event will be some new entertainment.
