Saturday, May 12th: Mass Audubon presents Something to Tweet About from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North River Wildlife Sanctuary, 2000 Main Street. Amy Quist, Mass Audubon’s South Shore Sanctuaries, 781 837-9400. Learn about bird conservation and how you can help preserve birds each day. Challenge your bird topography, make a bird mask, and get banded like a bird. Take a stroll down Birder’s Lane, test your bird IQ, and celebrate the importance of having birds in our lives. For families with children ages 3 and up – $7 members/$10 non-members. Preregistration is not required, and you may drop in at any time during the program.
The Ventress Memorial Library Cultural Series presents its season finale concert, Mostly Mercer, featuring Boston-based cabaret singers Bobbi Carrey and Will Mcillan at 2 p.m. Pianist Doug Hammer will accompany on piano.
