The Marshfield Education Foundation (MEF) is seeking runners and walkers of all ages and abilities for its second annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K road race. The road race, to be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17th, on a flat, ocean-side course in the Brant Rock neighborhood of Marshfield, is designed to be a fun and scenic challenge for participants. Proceeds from the event will help fund the foundation’s grants program for the Marshfield Public Schools. Last year’s inaugural St. Patrick’s Day 5K drew over 1,600 participants and raised over $35,000 for the foundation.
The fee to register for the race is $25, or $15 for those 19 years of age and under and $30 for day of registration.
